    Hi all
Still loving it, but I cannot wait till Darcy and Elizabeth meet again. I hope it will be soon. I think Darcy’s feelings will be all over the place…

I was expecting him to make an offer this day and then wondering how he would get out of it upon again meeting Elizabeth. He is in for the shock of his life. I am also wondering if Georgiana is going to meet her first while out riding or just to meet the “new tenants”? Still have us dangling for Elizabeth and Darcy to meet. Thanks for this chapter.

I’m thrilled he did not make that offer! Whew! Now the wait is on for how long it will take for Darcy to see Elizabeth. Ohh, the excitement and the anxiety!

The story is awesome as is typical of your writing and your use of the language is always such a pleasure to read. Thank you.

Phhew!! You definitely had us on tenterhooks for a while there, Cass. Like Janet and Sheila, I was convinced that the purpose of his trip to see Mr. Latimer was to offer for his daughter’s hand. Then I was wondering how you were going to write him out of it once he meets Elizabeth again. Should have known you had something else up your sleeve!

Looking forward to seeing what you’ve got in store for us when everyone meets at Pemberley.

Ohh dear, now my iPad’s bluetooth keyboard is playing up! I wanted to apologise for misspelling Sheila’s name and somehow it’s copied and pasted all of my original comment instead. Ah technology! No wine involved this time. Far too early in the day yet.

You’re really going to think I’m losing my marbles! The duplicated comment has somehow disappeared, unless you’ve taken it down yourself, Cass? Time to quit while I’m behind I think.

Waaaah! Yes, you just might give me a heart attack! Haha, just kidding. I love my angst as long as it leads to a HEA but you, dear author, are making this slow reveal torture. And yes, I am known to exaggerate every now and then πŸ˜‰

  8. Okay Cass thank you for making Darcy leave London, now make him locked in Derbyshire for a year or more until he get his head out of his ***!! Because I would dearly love to give him a good kick in his behind until he sees sense!! Because I think I’m not the only one being heartily tired of hearing the word DUTY! I truly hope you make him cross paths with Elizabeth VERY VERY soon! He needs to restart his heart and sensibilities!

Very much enjoying the story.. Always angst with Darcy. Also wondering if the word in the first paragraph should be “careening?”)

So pleased you are enjoying, Liz!

No, definitely meant to be ‘careering’ as in, moving swiftly and in an uncontrolled way! I wonder if ‘careening’ is the US version?

I love the image of Darcy’s valet fitting him for flannels!! Thanks again, Cass, as I am enjoying your story very much!

  11. Carol says:

No, no, no! No to Mr. Latimer – no to Miss Latimer! No to fulfilling obligations with boring, suitable women with stellar lineages and handsome dowries! Just no! Go back home, Darcy, and let Pemberley soothe your troubled soul. And maybe run into the object of your affections…
    Thanks for another great chapter!

LOL You tell him, Carol! He needs a good shake up, something to knock him out of this stilly idea he’s over Elizabeth, doesn’t he? Let’s face it, we ALL know Darcy would never be over her, no matter how many times he tells himself he is! πŸ˜‰

All this time away from Lizzy, it seems like Mr. Darcy does not love her more. I am anguished.
