I'm Cass, and I write the sort of stories I love to read - heart-warming, character driven and strong on location. I lean heavily towards the upbeat in both my reading and my writing.

I am enjoying this story sooo much! I love the way Darcy and Lizzy are both realising that their happiness really depends on the other. It was very touching to hear Lizzy’s words that she does not want Darcy speaking in that way to another. What else is there to say? Lizzy realises now that she loves Mr Darcy. The Colonel always delivers! Love him!
I will be travelling from Tuesday, I hope I can catch your posts while back home on Spain.

Oh, poorly done, Wickham…all that you have done to the Bennets and now you are stealing the food out of their mouths…poorly done!
So glad the Colonel has arrived on the scene. Always have liked the man. His insight into what women observe and what is playing out in looking at Darcy’s mien in the twin’s drawing tell Darcy exactly how things lie.
Elizabeth has stepped out of denial and sees that her heart will not be denied. If she can’t have Darcy it will be Hell to live in the same neighborhood and watch his life play out with another.
I do understand that life comes first, dear author, but I hope the muse keeps busy in your mind so that when you find the time to come back to this story it unfolds clearly.

Sheila, you can rest assured the Muse is going nowhere! I will be writing on the plane and in my head for all the time I’m in England with family!

They are both so consumed about each other… Yes, Elizabeth we don’t want him saying that to anyone else but you either! I wonder if Viola realizes what she has captured in her drawings. The Colonel has and he is just what Darcy needs! Looking forward to next weeks postings…whenever they may be!

Oh, Darcy, you can be so set in your ways — your good opinion once lost, is lost forever; and your bad decisions (marrying Miss Latimer) once made, are apparently set in stone forever. Good thing the Colonel has arrived to help smash through Darcy’s foolish resolution. Stop and think, Darcy! Would you really want to be married to a person you don’t even seem to have a physical attraction toward while being ardently in love with another? I hope the picnic is a delightful success and both Darcy and Elizabeth thoroughly enjoy each other’s company. And I hope the twins’ matchmaking attempts are thoroughly entertaining!
Now, the fuss with the chickens is worrying. Is it safe to presume the poacher has assumed the role of Mr. Fox? If the poacher is indeed Wickham, he is being very bold (and foolhardy) hunting on Pemberley’s land.

The fox in the chicken coop, eh? That’s a fairly accurate portrayal of Wickham amongst a company of ladies. 😉
I have a feeling that something dangerous will occur–that Wickham will either reveal his presence to Elizabeth or that he will abduct her to maintain her silence (or to wreak further revenge upon Darcy).
I hope that Darcy will listen to Colonel Fitzwilliam, but I suppose that only seeing Elizabeth and Miss Latimer side-by-side will convince Darcy of the correct direction. However, I think that Miss Latimer’s father may have something to say about that!
I am looking forward to the next installment with the greatest anticipation!! Thank you for yet snother lovely chapter–you spoil us!! 😉

YES!!!! She admitted her feelings!!!! HURRAH finally!!! Yay Elizabeth is falling for Darcy!!
And am I glad to see Colonel Fitzwilliam so he can talk some sense into Darcy!? The answer: YES! Colonel Fitzwilliam will be able to show Darcy what a thick headed pest he is being towards himself! My idea; make Darcy propose to Elizabeth ASAP!

I always find myself deeply frustrated by the fact that people refuse to speak openly with each other. I have a fear that I will shed a few tears before D&L work out things between them. Looking forward to next week and to learning what the disturbance is. Though, truthfully, I am certain it is Wickham up to no good!

Ahh, that was lovely! At last, both of them are starting to acknowledge their feelings. If Viola understands what she’s drawn, will that change the twins’ plans for match-making, I wonder? And the Lannister’s arrival is imminent now. Just what are they going to make of that?
Hmm, “Mr. Fox” on the prowl again. Or is he? How many legs does “Mr. Fox” possess, I wonder?

Oh my goodness! Just as I clicked”Post Comment”, I realised I’ve made another typo. Put it down to binge-watching the latest box set of Game of Thrones. Surely Miss Latimer can’t be a Regency Cersei? Is her father a Regency Tywin? If so, Darcy has better definitely steer clear!!
Mind you, Kit Harington (Jon Snow) has the looks to make a reasonable Darcy, Just needs to be a taller for most of our tastes, I think. Of course, there’s always Richard Madden (the late Robb Stark) but he also falls a bit short of Colin Firth’s 6ft 2in.

I loved it that Elizabeth has come to realize her feelings for Darcy! Yay! And the Colonel will surely keep on helping his cousin see the light! I am enjoying it so much, Cass!! 🙂
I wonder what kind of problems the possible present of Wickham will bring. Will he try to hurt the Bennets again? Maybe Elizabeth and then Darcy will come and rescue her? lol. And about Miss Latimer’s father, I wonder how serious Darcy’s intentions were and if her father is sure on this “engagement”. I really hope it is nothing so certain, because Darcy will definitely have to break this arrangement.
