So, two years ago, I set up this page with a view to sharing posts about travel and more on my blog, but guess what, something happened in 2020 and 2021 to push me off track!

I’m leaving the post here in hopes I get to do as I’ve promised and to remind me of that promise! I have, of course, since this went up, moved back to the UK from Switzerland after nearly eight amazing years in the heart of Western Europe.

I’ve been fortunate to live in three countries so far (although one doesn’t really count, being my home country of the UK) and one of the most wonderful things about that is the ability to travel extensively in the area where you live.

In 2001, we moved to Connecticut in the USA for five years; we’re heading for the year six milestone for our current stint in beautiful Switzerland – right in the heart of western Europe. Where will the next five years take us? We’ve honestly no idea, but I’m going to share some of my favourite places from my travels, along with occasional reviews of books I’ve been reading and anything else that comes to mind!
