Time-travel Romance

Uplifting and Comedic Tales of Love, Friendship and Family

All time-travel romance stories are co-written with my good friend, Ada Bright, and you can find out about them at our blog, Tabby Cow, by clicking here. So far, we’ve written two books in the series, with at least one more to come.

The eBooks are published by Canelo Escape and the paperbacks are published by us through our own imprint, Tabby Cow Press (hence the different covers), all of which are very pretty in their own right.

The Particular Charm of Miss Jane Austen (book one)

When a time travelling Jane Austen gets stuck in modern-day Bath it’s up to avid Janeite Rose Wallace to save her… because she’s the only one who knows that Jane exists!

Rose Wallace’s world revolves around all things Austen, and with the annual festival in Bath – and the arrival of dishy archaeologist, Dr Aiden Trevellyan – just around the corner, all is well with the world…

But then a mysterious woman who bears more than a passing resemblance to the great author moves in upstairs, and things take a disastrous turn. Rose’s new neighbour is Jane Austen, whose time travel adventure has been sabotaged by a mischievous dog, trapping her in the twenty-first century.

Rose’s life is instantly changed – new home, new job, new friends – but she’s the only one who seems to have noticed! To right the world around her, she will have to do whatever it takes to help Jane get back home to write Rose’s beloved novels. Because a world without Mr Darcy? It’s not worth living in!

The Unexpected Past of Miss Jane Austen (book two

Never before has Rose’s obsession with Regency life served her so well… or led her into more trouble!

Jane Austen never forgets a face, so when she makes an acquaintance in 1813 who reminds her of someone in the future, she brings her twenty-first century friend, Rosemary Wallace, along with Rose’s ‘almost’ boyfriend, Aidan Trevellyan, back in time to solve the mystery.

Rose has just discovered her secret crush on archaeologist, Aiden, is reciprocated. It couldn’t be a more inconvenient moment for her time-travelling friend to come crashing back into her life. Once in the past, however, Rose soon becomes entangled in Chawton life and discovers Jane’s purpose in fetching her.

As fact blends with the incredible once again, Rose must further overcome her inhibitions to successfully masquerade as a nineteenth century lady. Can she then draw on all her courage to meet the challenges laid before her in this tale of love, friendship and family?
