It’s finally publication day for the next book in The Little Cornish Cove series—Escape to Polkerran Point.
The first book, New Dreams at Polkerran Point, probably feels like it’s been out a long time, even though it was only September last year when it was released. That’s probably because—for some readers—they read its earlier incarnation, The Cottage in a Cornish Cove.
These two books are the same story, just with different titles and covers. They tell Anna’s tale as she moves to Cornwall to chase her dreams of having a home to call her own and to find love.
- SAME STORY – NEW book
- SAME STORY – OLD book
If you haven’t read the first in the series, you can find it HERE, where you will meet Anna and the warm and funny Polkerran Point (aka the cove’s) community. You don’t have to have read it, however, to enjoy this second book, as it’s a standalone story (although you do get chance in the new book to catch up with Anna, the Hot Historian and the barmy locals too)!
ESCAPE TO POLKERRAN POINT (BOOK TWO)
So what is the next book in The Little Cornish Cove series all about? Who’s escaping and why go to Polkerran Point?
Lauren is the one who’s in need of a bolthole, when her life changes dramatically. Not only does a restructure leave her high-flying career nose-diving, but she’s also unexpectedly pregnant and—as a result—dumped by her boyfriend.
Anna, Lauren’s best mate, relocated to Cornwall the year before and, as Lauren is long-overdue paying her a visit, it seems the perfect time to take a few weeks out to think about what on earth she’s going to do, especially as she’s also had to move out of the flat she shared with her ex.
Although she’s now expecting a baby, what Lauren is not expecting—at this complicated time in her life—is to strike up a friendship with the cute but inaccessible Daniel Tremayne, who’s far too easy on the eye, but still wrapped up in his own ex and therefore totally out of reach.
If you’d like to find out what happens, then escape down to Polkerran Point and join the fun and frolics as the cove works its magic.

I started reading the new book on the train to work this morning, on my lunch break and then on the way home tonight. I’m about 40% through, so far. Is it wrong of me to be drooling, just a little, over Daniel?
