I don’t know if I have waited so anxiously for a book as I have for your volume III. I am now at the point of checking daily (although I am signed up to receive an email notification as soon as it is available!!!) OMG! I have re-read vols. I and II just to be ready for vol. III – all other “P&P variation” reads are on hold until I get my hands on vol. III. This has truly been one of the best P&P variations I have read!!!! I know you have heard it before, but I must add my voice to others who have said “Congratulations on a work well-done.”

Just finished vol 3. Absolutely beautiful. I’ve kind of been on this P&P rampage (for lack of a better word), and have been sampling many, many sequels and variations. I felt this alternate universe to not only be so true to the characters and style, but at the same time it was also so much more it’s “own” story than the others. Does that make sense? My heart absolutely soared and broke for both Darcy and Elizabeth many times, and my joy at their reunion was as full as at the end of Austen’s original. I would read anything you wrote, Austen variation or not. This was a quality read. Thank you so much! 🙂

I Have been reading p&p fanfiction for years. Your novel is the best of all time. You have captured the desperate passion that I always imagined Darcy to feel for Lizzy, and indeed you are superb at writing the emotional. I long for as someone with your skill to write a story of the next phase of the Darcy’s life. With the ups and downs of marriage, the joys of children, the companionship they would share, without far fetched ridiculous plot lines. Would you consider it? Regardless, I would be first in line to purchase your next. Than you.

A Fair Prospect is a story which is incredibly enthralling. I have deepest affection for this story. These 3 books on my bookshelf have the most accessible placing. Although nothing can stop me from reading this story, the chapters or favourite parts anytime I wish, I still do have this plan to read the whole story during the exact weekdays as in novel. Starting in the spring. On Sunday. And it better be raining! Although the epilogue would be a bit challenge. Or actually… .
The final chapters were like wish come true. Really glad you wrote them.

I’m so sorry, I only just saw your comment. I’ve had my head down writing and every month I say to myself, I must update the website with what I’m doing and never does it happen!!! My apologies.
The Regency story I was working on after finishing A Fair Prospect is partially complete (about two thirds), but it ended up on hold because a year ago I started to co-write with one of my best friends (we used to co-write years ago). It’s a contemporary rom-com this time, set in Bath during the Jane Austen Festival and involves a time travelling Jane Austen! It will be out in July, and then I am going back to finish off the Regency story, which hopefully won’t take too long.

You have mentioned that you consider A Fair Prospect to be way too long, but it is still one of my favourite JAFF stories, and IMNSHO way too short, as are all good reads. I’m very much enjoying A Quest and find myself getting somewhat nervous about the circumstances. We can expect a Darcy/Lizzy HEA, can’t we? With thanks and all best regards.

Sorry to be making you nervous. I am never conscious I am writing angst, but it seems I am! I suppose when you are the writer and know how the story pans out, you don’t feel the pain! 😉
I only ever do HEA stories! New chapter midday UK time today, and I may be persuaded to post the next, as today’s has a small cliff hanger at the end!
