Welcome to my blog, where I share my love of books, travelling, cats and other things... but mainly books!
An avid bookworm since childhood, I write the sort of stories I love to read – heart-warming, character driven and strong on location. Having moved around extensively and lived in three countries, I find places inspiring and the setting of my novels often becomes as much a part of the story as the characters.
I lean heavily towards the upbeat and insist on a happy ever after. As one of my favourite authors, Jane Austen, once wrote, ‘let other pens dwell on guilt and misery’.
I love travelling, words, cats and wine but never in the same glass, and I currently split my time between Switzerland, where I live with my husband and imaginary cats, and England, where I live with my characters.
Phew! Phew! At last Elizabeth knows the whole truth of Wickham and his disgusting lies.
Now if only Darcy can discover what error the despicable Elliot daughter made things could maybe start to improve for him? I’m hoping this happens sometime soon!

I think I’m going to need this in paperback so I can go back to re-read my favorite parts. And because that cover is just so gorgeous. Thank you for posting all of these chapters. I can’t wait to read the entire story.

Great chapter. Finally Elizabeth knows the truth about Wickham but how will she be able to communicate that she realizes her error to Darcy? And how can he untangle himself from E.E.? Looking forward to the rest of the story. Thanks for sharing here.

Hmmm, with 20 more chapters to go, I am sure there will be drama to come, or at the very least, a tiny hole in the boat 😉

Well the drama is being cleared for Elizabeth as we speak! Well well I hope that Elizabeth has learnt something from her very enlightening conversation with Col.Fitzwilliam
Anne and Wentworth, oh I hope they remain together even when the truth are revealed

It occurs to me we get to see a young and lively aspect of Captain Wentworth, without the bitterness which was so apparent be in Persuasion.
It’s nice to have a glimpse of what their relationship might have been when they were younger.

Yes, it’s lovely, isn’t it, to see him less morose and bearing a grudge. I wonder if that will change?

Btw, is there a publishing date for your book in paperback? My Mom will love it!

It will be out in paperback straight away, Sam. In fact, the paperback sometimes goes live before the eBook, because you can’t set a pre-order date for paperbacks.
