The Final Giveaway….

Well, it’s almost time to let Cass change her passwords and have control over her blog again. I think I get major gold stars for remembering not to reply to comments as her (thereby taking the identity theft just a tad too far). One last picture: my favorite aubergine matching day!

cheers to when we both had more brown hair than gray 😉

Our final giveaway for launch day is pictured here… all you have to do is comment below (and not tell Cass I forgot to put a requirement for winning for two hours… considering the laws of giveaways I’m now afraid we’re going to be hunted by the FBI and the England equivalent):

2 mini cover chocolates, three Austen magnets, the ladies of Austen print and a lovely Darcy and Elizabeth print

I can’t thank you all enough for being here with us on LAUNCH DAY for Mr Darcy’s Persuasion! We’ve had so much fun and can’t wait to get the winners their prizes!

Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, to those of you that have purchased a copy. If you enjoyed it, please submit a review for us on Amazon.

GIVEAWAY nitty gritty:

All giveaways are open internationally and will end at midnight PST (West Coast USA) on Wednesday, 10th March 2021, and the draws will take place on Saturday, 13th March, with all winners announced here on the blog. You will also receive an email telling you that you are a winner!

If a gift bundle isn’t claimed within 5 days of the draw closing, another name will be selected. You can find the Giveaway Terms & Conditions here.

Reading this book via blog posts was painful for me because of the cliffhangers!! It left me wondering for a whole week at times! That said, it was such a pleasure to get the chance to read the early chapters before publication. I am beside myself excited to read the rest!!

    • Ada says:

Thank you Piper! I totally understand, as I think I’ve said somewhere online – even though I co-wrote the book – when I was re-reading it for editing I still got stressed out for our characters!

Congratulations, ladies! Very happy for you both! To more collaborations in the future! 🥂

I’m 3/4 way through the book. I did follow along chapter by chapter when Cass posted them, but I wanted to start over at the beginning. I’m loving the mystery involving Anne’s father. I don’t want to say anymore to avoid spoilers. It’s heating up. I’m looking forward to finishing the book.

Best wishes for a successful launch of this excellent book. I read it. I loved it. I reviewed it…5 stars from me. Thank you for your generosity with all these lovely gifts. Stay safe. Stay healthy. We hit 58 degrees here today and I took my first walk outside for 2021. (I do walk on my treadmill if I cannot go out.)

mmm… chocolate. I can’t read the book for a while, being a Luddite who likes to read off of paper, and thus must wait for the actual book to be delivered.
Did you both wear purple on purpose, or was that just a coincidental clothing coupling?

Funnily enough, I had not packed well and so I went to buy a sweater to wear and I wasn’t super paying attention to what Cass was wearing and boom, twinsies.

I’m a bit of a party crashed from here in HK-trying to get my new book club to read this for next month!🤞 😊

Oo, I hope they agree! We’ve always championed that The Particular Charm of Miss Jane Austen would be a great book club read as well! Thank you for commenting Sarah!

Thank you for curating some wonderful Austenesque gifts, Cass and Ada. I had so much fun sharing my opinions and answering the questions. I hope each of us is a winner in the giveaways.

Just a question on the chocolates, will it melt in the package? It is hot and humid in my country. The last time I received chocolates from Cassandra many years ago, it melted and dirty the other gifts in the parcel. So I’m quite cautious now.

What an amazing set of giveaways! And what a fun way to do it. Thank you so much to both of you. 🥰
I’m so looking forward to being able to read the whole book and when I do I’ll definitely write a review (I’m not the best reviewer as I struggle to not give spoilers but hey we can’t all be perfect so I’ll stick with very nearly!)

    • Cass says:

We value reviews so much, Glynis. If you think you may have included a spoiler, the best thing to do is at the very top add in ‘Contains Spoilers’ or something similar. I’ve seen other people do that.

There is a lot that needs to keep hidden in this story, that’s for certain!

  22. Kim P. says:

Like many others, I read along on the blog but I started reading again from the beginning yesterday. I can’t wait to see how the story ends. Thanks for these awesome and fun giveaways!
