Thank You!

To those who have already downloaded or bought A Fair Prospect Volume I!  You have made my heart smile this week with your support. I do hope you enjoy the book – I realise it is very much a scene-setter volume in preparation for Volumes II and and III, but I really hope you stay with me for the whole journey and that you enjoy the ride!

This first week has been rather nerve-racking for me as a first-time author, and for someone completely averse to, and incompetent with, figures – Maths was my all-time most hated subject at school (close in hand with PE!) – I am amused by my new-found fascination with statistics!  It is such fun watching the number of downloads climb.

I was told all along the eBooks totally out-sell paperbacks (not for me! I love a print copy over a screen any day!) I wasn’t really expecting to sell many at all, but I have been highly gratified and entertained as I watched the print copies doing reasonably well (aided by the fact the eBook wasn’t available until several days later), then seeing the figures neck and neck, with the print copies constantly just managing to stay ahead, but I woke this morning to have a look, and the downloads overnight have totally overtaken and are well into the lead!

And on that rather nerdy note, I am taking myself off to the day job!

Thank you again, you are wonderful and your support is MUCH appreciated!

Cassie

  1. Believe me, the pleasure is ours! (If I may speak not only for myself, but for others who have caused your statistics to escalate.)

I have started reading my copy (I bought the paperback, I like book in hand too) and hate to put it down for things like feeding the cat, or myself, or (worst) heading off to the office for the day. I will not only stick with you through the journey, I will be pestering you for the next volumes to be made available!

Your Amazon rankings are fantastic! Good for you! Well-deserved!

Just finished it and I loved it! Can’t wait for May – you left me hungry for more!

I have now read volumes one and two and can’t wait for the 3rd. You have done an amazing job! I’m looking forward to what your next project will be. Also, anything you can do to move the release date of Volume 3 will be greatly appreciated…I am dying to read it 🙂

    • I’m sorry about the wait for the last book. I’ve moved it’s release from summer to early May by taking a week off work to make sure it’s all ready. I will update here as soon as there is any news. Thank you for commenting!

I’m sure it will be worth the wait. I can’t believe you wrote these books and work fulltime. You should be extremely proud of yourself…this is simply an amazing set of books. Do you have any other projects in the works?

  5. Awww, thank you, Susan. That’s so kind. 🙂 Yes, I have another book about 70% done (just the one volume this time, you will be pleased to know!) and I have started to sketch an outline to the next (a P&P and Persuasion cross over). I am also working on a co-written modern story with a very good friend. Lots to do, just no time to do it! 😉
