Welcome to my blog, where I share my love of books, travelling, cats and other things... but mainly books!
An avid bookworm since childhood, I write the sort of stories I love to read – heart-warming, character driven and strong on location. Having moved around extensively and lived in three countries, I find places inspiring and the setting of my novels often becomes as much a part of the story as the characters.
I lean heavily towards the upbeat and insist on a happy ever after. As one of my favourite authors, Jane Austen, once wrote, ‘let other pens dwell on guilt and misery’.
I love travelling, words, cats and wine but never in the same glass, and I currently split my time between Switzerland, where I live with my husband and imaginary cats, and England, where I live with my characters.
Oh Anne! I do hope he truly does wake and realise she loves him. As for poor Darcy? I could just cry, I feel so sorry for him. I’m hoping Elizabeth is starting to see some good in him and can also start to love him as I’m certain her help would be beneficial. It would definitely help him to come up with a solution (hopefully the Colonel can assist as well?)

Yes, poor Darcy is not in a good place, emotionally or otherwise. I think there are changes coming though, for all our characters!

Yes! We know have hope. At least for Fredrick. D&L are still in a rough place. Looking forward to more.

Oh my! That chapter was so good!! The Captain is waking up. But will he admit his love for Anne? Is there hope for Darcy and Elizabeth? Will Darcy admit his interference and send Bingley back to Jane before it’s too late? So many questions. I can’t wait to read more!

Yes, the cover is lovely. I am hoping, along with everyone else, that Frederick does open his eyes and is aware of who he is and what Anne said. As for Darcy…I cannot imagine how he is going to get out of the blackmail situation he is in. And it seems that Anne’s words to Elizabeth just might cause her to rethink some of her opinions. We’ll see. Looking forward to the next chapter. Thanks for this one.

You’ll find out more today, Sheila, on how the captain is!
We must be doing our job properly if you can’t see a way out for Darcy yet! Glad we haven’t let any cats out of bag! lol
